About our "staging" environment

We are upgrading BioGraph ...

As we've been running BioGraph for a few years we've seen a lot of feature requests, enough to warrant a new version based on a completely new codebase that allows us the flexibility required to upgrade.

We are currently in the process of upgrading BioGraph to a new version, but as the old version was deteriorating to the state that it becomes currently hard to keep it up and running, we need to move faster. All of the previously and currently available features will remain and many new features are being added!

Some of these new features are

  • You can log in as a user and manage lists of biomedical entities (e.g., research contexts, potential targets, variants, expression study results, ...).
  • You can use these lists and collections of such lists as the basis of your discovery with BioGraph by finding related items, differences in the mapping of these sets or even compare cohorts of assays.

We hope you are looking forward to exploring these new features while we are constantly working to get them in a better shape beyond this "staging" version.

... but we are not 100% ready

As we are upgrading to a new version of BioGraph, we are unfortunately not 100% ready. We are still working on some new features and new collaborations to make BioGraph a more complete solution. At the moment, BioGraph is not yet stable for production, although all computations of predictions and prioritizations work, they just may take longer than expected as we are not in final production.

For now, you are invited to make an account and try to use some of these new features. However, as there may still be important changes to our network and data formats, it is hard to guarantee that users and user data will remain in future updates of the software.

Once we have moved into a "production" state these guarantees will be back for you to more comfortably explore the new BioGraph!

If you come across features that need fixing, please do contact us via e-mail so we can get more smoothly transit the new BioGraph into a production stage.

Thank you for your patience and trust with BioGraph,

Anthony Liekens,-
